To
impart in depth knowledge and training in the
field of Mechanical engineering covering energy,
thermal, design, manufacturing, industrial management,
environment and to expose to the latest research,
development and techniques so as to cater to the
growing needs of the Industries and to mould the
students as good CITIZENS of our Country. |

| Prof.
P.S.Rajeswaran graduated in Mechanical
Engineering and obtained Master of Engineering
in Production Engineering in the year
1975 & 1977 respectively from the
University of Madras. He started his career
as Associate Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering
department at the College of Engineering,
Anna University. Served for 25 years in
various manufacturing industries such
as the English Electric company, S&S
Power Switch Gear etc. He has rich experience
in the departments like Production, Materials
management, Design & Development,
Marketing etc. Trained in Japan in connection
with manufacturing of machines. He has
widely travelled abroad in connection
with Product Development, Application
Engineering and Marketing. He was instrumental
for developing a number of HV Substation
equipment for sub zero climate conditions,
onerous duties etc. and their successful
testing in Internationally accredited
Laboratories in Netherland and Italy. |
