The
E.C.E. department has the following ten laboratories
to cover all the experiments prescribed in Anna
University/A.I.C.T.E. Curriculum and to support
all research activities.
Basic
Electronics Lab - I :
All
basic Electronic devices and their characteristics,
applications can be studied. Using these
devices the small electronic circuits can
be constructed and can be checked.
Digital
Signal Processing Lab :
The
detailed study of the digital electronics
& signal processing concept based experiments
can be performed. This lab has more than
30 numbers of Pentium IV 512 MB personnel
computer along with required soft wares
like MATLAB 7.1 version.
Integrated
Circuits Lab :
All
analog and digital I.C related experiments
can be carried out. The testers for IC are
available.
Communication
Lab :
The
concepts of all type of modulation &
demodulation can be studied. The recent
communication techniques like fiber optic
techniques can be demonstrated with available
equipments. This lab has highly advanced
digital storage oscilloscopes.
Microwave
Lab :
The
microwave lab is well equipped with all
required equipments like klystron power
supplies, microwave trainer kits, directional
couplers etc.
Micro
Processor Lab :
This
lab is one of the important labs in E.C.E
department. This lab has various types of
microprocessor, micro controller trainer
kits along with interfacing modules to demonstrate
the detailed applications of microprocessors.
Radio
Frequency Lab and Digital Lab :
The
RF lab has various equipments along with
various types of antennas like horn antenna,
dipoles etc. to give good idea about communication
in RF range.

All
